  • Patent number: 4230089
Abstract: Disclosed is a support assembly for a campfire cooking utensil in which a horizontal arm may be adjustably positioned along a vertical support member by means of spaced, notch gripping apertures in plates carried by the arm. An adapter member releasably joins the free end of the arm and a cooking implement which is rigidly attached to the adapter. Inwardly directed flanges on the free end of the arm extend into longitudinal slots in the adapter and, adjacent the open, entry end of the slots, abutments are provided. The width of the slots and the abutment height are sized so that the adapter and the arm are locked against separation when the adapter is cocked slightly, under load, with relation to the arm.

  • Patent number: 3986642
Abstract: A nozzle assembly for dispensing liquid which is adjustable to direct the streams of liquid at various angles. Multiple aligned clamp blocks are secured to a mounting bracket. Adjacent clamp blocks have mutually facing surfaces with pairs of recesses formed therein to pivotally receive a plurality of nozzles. The nozzles each include a tubular member having a spherical portion received in the recesses. The tubes are connected to sources of liquid. The number of nozzles in the assembly may be increased by linear extension as well as by adding additional rows to increase the depth of the assembly. A threaded member secures the clamp blocks to the bracket with the clamp blocks being pivotable and the nozzles being pivotable until the threaded member is tightened. A fastener secures the bracket to a bulkhead with the bracket being pivotable until the fastener is tightened. The clamp blocks have tapered cross sections to allow pivoting of the nozzles.

  • Patent number: 3985267
Abstract: Logic and selector circuitry control the fluid flows in a flavored-beverage dispensing apparatus of the type which dispenses a beverage of a flavor selected from a plurality of flavors. The logic circuitry includes a control for the carbonated and still water supply system of the apparatus which guarantees that still water will be directed to a beverage container at the output of the apparatus even during a period when the carbonator would ordinarily be refilling with still water. The selector system of the apparatus includes a printed circuit board having a slide switch mounted thereon operable to couple electrical power to a conductive pad in each of two sets of conductive pads which are preset to determine the flavor and carbonation, if any, of the beverage selected by positioning the slide switch.
