The method of producing a poly(?-caprolactone) fibre comprising dissolving poly(?-caprolactone) polymer in a solvent whereby to form a poly(?-caprolactone) solution, and feeding the poly(?-caprolactone) solution through an orifice directly into a non-solvent whereby to form said poly(?-caprolactone) fibre.
