    Abstract: Disclosed is a detachable jet propulsion unit adapted to be externally mounted on the hull of a water craft. The propulsion unit comprises (a) a base, a first side of which is shaped to conform closely to the exterior of the hull of a water craft and which contains a plenum for water maintained at high pressure, (b) an apparatus for introducing water at a high pressure into the plenum in the base, (c) a plurality of jet nozzles carried by the base and in fluid communication with the plenum in the base, and (d) a mounting assembly for detachably mounting the base on the exterior hull of a water craft. A plurality of the propulsion units may be mounted on the hull of the water craft for propelling the water craft by cyclically expelling water through the nozzles sequentially from the bow to the stern of the water craft.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a security pocket adapted to be worn on the inside of a pair of pants. The security pocket comprises a pouch having an opening sized to permit access to the interior of the pouch and means for releasably mounting the pouch on the inside of a pair of pants. Two general types of such means are disclosed. The first general type is hung from the belt and passes over the top of the waistband; the second general type is releasably attached to the inside of the pants themselves.
