  • Patent number: 6962066
Abstract: A locking arrangement serving for locking a door hinged on a casing on e.g. a container by a combination or key lock. The locking arrangement comprises a rotatable closing rod for keeping the door closed by engaging the casing in a closed position; a fitting having a U-shaped part encompassing at least a length of the closing rod; two flushing locking holes made with one hole in each of the opposite walls of the U-shaped part; a transverse hole made in the closing rod and flushing with the locking holes in the closed position; and a bolt having a first section provided with a head, and a second section displaceably mounted in the lock between a locked inner position and an unlocked outer position; whereby the locking arrangement is locked when the bolt is extending through the transverse hole and the locking holes in locked inner position.

  • Patent number: 6553798
Abstract: A door block (9) serving for blocking a door (2), which is side-hinged on a casing (3) around an opening in a container wall, against being opened by unauthorized persons. The door block comprises a rotatable closing rod (5), a handle (6) on the closing rod and a cam (7) fitted on the closing rod for engaging a keeper (8) on the casing when the door is closed and the closing rod rotated into closed position by means of the handle. The door block furthermore comprises a, seen in cross section, mainly U-shaped covering (14) having a body (16) and two flaps (17) projecting from this body, and in the blocking position extending across the closing rod with a piece of this rod located in flushing cuts (18) in the flaps and the handle encompassed between the body and the flaps; a catch hook (19) pivotally mounted in the covering for locking the closing rod in the cuts of the flaps by means of a projection (26) on the catch hook; and a lock (13) for locking the catch hook in its locking position.

  • Patent number: 5035127
Abstract: A lock arrangement for containers comprising a latch with a crossbar and a counterpart, the crossbar and the counterpart being equipped with lock members provided with holes. The lock members are locked together by means of a padlock. When the lock arrangement is shut, the lock members are inside a housing mounted on the crossbar or the counterpart. The housing is shaped and arranged in such a way that it tightly encloses the padlock and the lock members when the padlock provided with a straight shackle is in its locked position. The housing and the lock members are furthermore provided such that the padlock is insertable in the housing via an opening therein by a rectilinear movement in at least two directions perpendicular to each other. The crossbar and the counterpart are fastened to the container by means of safety fastening means, such as bolts, the heads of which being on the same level as the crossbar and/or the counterpart. This results in a simple and burglar-proof lock arrangement for containers.
