Patent number: 9972287Abstract: Systems and devices are arranged as tools for guitar maintenance and particular for removing bridge pins of an acoustic guitar and adjusting stream of pictures of guitars. Eight ‘clamshell’ arrangement of complementary half element form a clan particularly devised to couple with hardware used to mount strength of a guitar i.e. bridge pins. The coupling is such that it is easy to establish and easy to remove whereby superior control of the bridge pin removal is achieved. As bridge pins are removed from a bridge, the bridge pins remain captive with respect to the clamp device thus preventing them from being dropped and/or lost—a problem common in competing alternative systems known in the arts.Type: GrantFiled: August 20, 2014Date of Patent: May 15, 2018Inventors: William Gray, Allen Chance

Patent number: 9343047Abstract: Guitar bridge pins are formed of hard materials shaped to mechanically cooperate with standard guitar bridge configurations. Either molded or machined into a prescribed shape, guitar bridge pins fit into tapered shaped holes of most common guitar bridges. Guitar bridge pins of these systems include a main body portion into which a recess seat is formed. Further a string via is arranged from the recess seat to an exit aperture, the string via provides a path through which a guitar string may pass. These guitar pins provide a high-performance system for mounting and fixing guitar strings at the bridge of a standard guitar. Specifically these bridge pin devices include at least four major integrated elements including a main body, a recess seat, a string via and a stud element. Additionally, these bridge pin systems may also include cooperating spacing and locking washers which may be used in conjunction with threaded fasteners.Type: GrantFiled: April 17, 2013Date of Patent: May 17, 2016Inventors: William Gray, Allen Chance

Patent number: 8347791Abstract: A computer accessory tray assembly adapted for mounting to a chair. The tray assembly includes individual left and right mouse trays mounted by horizontal arms to respective arms of the chair. A keyboard tray is engageable with the left and right mouse trays to prevent lateral movement of the keyboard tray, but allows the keyboard tray to be lifted up from engagement with both mouse trays and moved out of the entry/exit position of the chair so that the user can have access to the chair. When removed from engagement from both mouse trays, the keyboard tray can be stowed by hanging it from either of the mouse trays. The mouse trays are adjustable vertically, forwards and backwards, and can be titled to provide ergonomic access to a mouse resting on either mouse tray.Type: GrantFiled: October 27, 2010Date of Patent: January 8, 2013Assignee: Ergo Genesis, LLCInventors: William Gray, Allen Chance

Patent number: 6054643Abstract: An ergonomic musician's pick or pick holder for use with string instruments, such as a guitar, mandolin, bass guitar, or ukelele, has a curved finger grip portion on one side adapted to form a finger cradle for either the thumb or index finger of a user and has a flat generally planar area on another side against which the other fingers of a user may be pressed to allow the user to securely and comfortably grasp the pick for playing. The grip portion positively locates the fingers in a generally predetermined angular relationship to the string engaging pick tip. Different individual picks of the invention may have different angular relationships. The pick functions in the same way to bring the same advantages of the invention to any conventional and some non-standard or custom picks. Holder provides the added advantage that various picks may be used and the angular relationship may be more easily varied through various arrangements for attaching the pick to the holder.Type: GrantFiled: October 5, 1998Date of Patent: April 25, 2000Assignee: Big Rock EngineeringInventors: Allen Chance, William T.
