  • Publication number: 20190377893
Abstract: A method for detecting and tracking access to digital information to identify and limit data loss includes defining, at a host device, an access policy associated with accessing files on a network. The host device automatically receives a signal in response to a triggering event associated with a file being acted on by an electronic device. The signal includes data associated with (1) a request for a resource stored at a predetermined location within the network, (2) the file, and (3) the electronic device. The data associated with the resource request, the file, and the electronic device is stored in a database. The host device analyzes the data stored in the database to define an analyzed data set associated with the triggering event. The host device defines an alert in response to one or more characteristics of the analyzed data set being noncompliant with the access policy.

  • Patent number: 8708867
Abstract: An exercise apparatus includes a frame; a platform configured to receive a person in a standing position, the platform connected to the frame; a handheld component configured to be held by a person standing on the platform; and an impeller-driven fluid circulation system. Manipulation of the handheld component by a person standing on the platform results in driving of the impeller and circulation of fluid within the fluid circulation system. The platform may rock from side to side, whereby a person standing on the platform must maintain balance while manipulating the handheld component. The handheld component may simulate a paddle and may include an elongate shaft. In this respect, the paddle component is used by a person standing on the platform as if the paddle component were a paddle used in paddleboarding, including manipulating the paddle component through a rowing motion that preferably would be experienced when actually paddleboarding.
