Patent number: 11890497Abstract: The present invention provides for a hurdle having an upright position and a collapsed position, the hurdle comprises a crossbar and a pair of legs pivotally connected to the crossbar. Each leg has a proximal end and a distal end where the proximal end is pivotally connected to the crossbar end and the distal end is for placement on an exercising surface. The distal ends of the legs can be rotated away from the bottom surface of the crossbar in an expanded upright position. In an upright position the hurdle provides height relative to the exercise surface which can be adjusted by a pivot angle between the crossbar and legs. When the hurdle is in a collapsed position the legs are substantially parallel to the crossbar. In another embodiment the crossbar of the hurdle can be used as a rung in an exercise agility ladder.Type: GrantFiled: November 17, 2017Date of Patent: February 6, 2024Assignee: QUICK PLAY SPORT LLCInventor: Allen Holland

Publication number: 20190366179Abstract: The present invention provides for equipment, systems, and methods of using a multipurpose agility training set comprising of a plurality of agility posts, cords, cones and markers, which may be used individually or in combination. When the posts are in an upright position they are a visual indicator. A flexible cord can be used to removably attach the posts. The conical shaped cones define a plurality of cone apertures which are capable of accepting a crossbar to create a hurdle. And the marker is a substantially flat panel having an aperture with a diameter wide enough to receive a hand.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 20, 2017Publication date: December 5, 2019Applicant: Quick Play Sport LLCInventor: Allen Holland

Publication number: 20190321674Abstract: The present invention provides for a training ladder, hurdle and methods of using the same. The ladder comprises flexible substantially parallel stiles, two spaced apart rungs between the stiles, each rung having a first and a second end for connection to the stiles; at least one rung having a clasp at each rung end to connect the rung to the stiles. Each clasp has an open and closed position. In the closed position, the rung with the clasps cannot be moved along the stiles and in the open position the rung can be repositioned or removed from the stiles. The present invention additionally comprises a hurdle. Advantageously, the legs of the hurdle are pivotally connected to a crossbar providing for adjustable height and preferred storage methods. Optionally, the crossbar of the hurdle can be configured from a rung of the ladder.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 17, 2017Publication date: October 24, 2019Applicant: Quick Play Sport LLCInventor: Allen Holland

Patent number: 9089755Abstract: A golf mat includes a frame having a central channel between left and right side shoulders. A hitting pad, such as an artificial turf pad, is slidable within or on the central channel. At least one elastic element, such as a rubber cord, extends laterally across the channel, and with the elastic element attached directly or indirectly to the artificial turf pad. Impact of the golf club head on the pad causes the pad to slide forward, absorbing impact forces and providing a feel to the golfer closer to hitting off of real grass. The elastic element decelerates the pad, and returns to the pad to its original position after the impact. The elastic element may be an elastic cord having plugged or knotted ends secured between inner and outer walls of the side shoulders of the frame.Type: GrantFiled: April 26, 2012Date of Patent: July 28, 2015Assignee: Pro Performance Sports, L.L.C.Inventor: Allen Holland

Patent number: 9050516Abstract: A ball tee for batting practice has a base assembly including a base, a post cup pivotally attached to the base, and at least one spring biasing the post cup into an upright position. A post assembly has a lower end inserted into the post cup. The spring causes the post assembly to return to the upright position after the post assembly is struck and deflected by a bat. The base assembly may include a base plate, a spring bracket attached to the base plate, and an axle extending through the spring bracket, through the spring, and through an axle hole in the post cup. The post assembly may have two or more tubes that allow the height of the post assembly to be telescopically adjusted.Type: GrantFiled: April 3, 2013Date of Patent: June 9, 2015Assignee: PRO PERFORMANCE SPORTS, L.L.C.Inventors: Allen Holland, Kenneth Ollie Stark

Patent number: 9039575Abstract: A sports training agility ladder is usable in a flat ladder position with the ladder rungs on or close to the ground. The ladder may also be moved into and used in a hurdle position where a bridge or center section of each rung is raised up off of the ground. The ladder accordingly provides advantages of an agility ladder and of hurdles. Each rung may have permanently attached left and right tubes forming a frame. Left and right elastic cords may extend through the left and right tubes. The ladder is consequently easily and compactly folded up for storage and transport, and quickly and easily unfolded for use in either the ladder position or the hurdle position.Type: GrantFiled: March 20, 2013Date of Patent: May 26, 2015Assignee: Pro Performance Sports, L.L.C.Inventor: Allen Holland
