Abstract: A context inference system including a mobile device and at least one information sending unit is provided. The mobile device includes an information receiving unit and a context operation platform. The information receiving unit receives a context information. The context operation platform includes an information collection module for collecting the information used for inferring a context based on a convergent search and an expanded search, a data classification and storage module for storing and classifying a user preference information of a user, and an inference module for inferring a context. The information sending unit transmits the context information to the mobile device. The context operation platform performs a context inference process according to the context information and the user preference information in order to forecast the user's need and provide a recommendation information to the user.

A client computer executing the presentation client application receives the presentation state, including the presentation, and is assigned a role. The client computer then provides a user interface (“UI”) for viewing and interacting with the presentation that is based upon the assigned role. The role might be a projector role, a presenter role, an attendee role, a moderator role, a notetaker role, or another type of role. The UI might also be customized for the particular type of client computer that it is displayed upon.

The periods of time are displayed with respect to a common time base. Each degree of supply availability is visually displayed via a graphical user interface using, e.g., a color coded scheme, so as to be distinguishable by a user. This allows a physician to rapidly assess over-consumption or compliance problems. Plural drugs may be monitored on a single display screen. The system may also be adapted to allow an prescribing physician to assess refill compliance, hospitalization periods and prescription drug costs.
