  • Publication number: 20240130009
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a heating pad that conforms to body parts of a user. The conforming heating pad can be worn to provide heat relief on different parts of a user's body. In an embodiment, a conforming heating pad includes a first layer on a posterior side of the heating pad, a second layer, a third layer, and a fourth layer on an anterior side of the heating pad. A continuous heating element is distributed throughout the second layer. The continuous heating element is capable of being selectively heated to increase the temperature of the heating pad. The third layer has a plurality of cavities formed in it. Each cavity holds a plurality of beads. When the heating pad is applied to a body portion of a user, the weight of the beads applies a force against the conductive heating element, the second layer, and the first layer to thereby conform them to the body portion of the user.

  • Publication number: 20240021874
Abstract: A class of sulfonimide salts for solid-state electrolytes can be synthesized based on successive SNAr reactions of fluorinated phenyl sulfonimides: Fluorinated Aryl Sulfonimide Tags (FAST). The chemical and electrochemical oxidative stability of these FAST salts as well as other properties like solubility, Lewis basicity, and conductivity can be tuned by introducing different numbers and types of nucleophilic functional groups to the FAST salt scaffold.

  • Patent number: 11855936
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses, including computer programs encoded on computer-readable media, for receiving a first communication request, from a web browser of a user. A request for information is sent to the web browser. A first communication as part of the first conversation is received from the user. A conversation identifier is identified and used to store the conversation of the first user. A request is received from a second, different, responder for the conversation. The conversation identifier is determined based on the request from the second responder. The request for information and first communication are retrieved from a persistent data store and sent to the second responder.

  • Patent number: 11855937
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses, including computer programs encoded on computer-readable media, for receiving a first communication request, from a web browser of a user. A first responder requests information and a response to the request for information is received as part of a conversation. A conversation identifier is used to store the conversation. Based on the conversation, the conversation is determined to stop and a second responder is identified. The conversation is then transferred to the second responder.

  • Publication number: 20230333842
Abstract: The disclosed technology relates to solutions for improving a firmware update mechanism and in particular, for improving a firmware update mechanism of a power distribution board by utilizing different boot procedures. A process of the disclosed technology can include steps for receiving, at a microcontroller, a firmware update, wherein the firmware update is transmitted by a computer powered by a power distribution board associated with the microcontroller, initiating, by the microcontroller, a warm boot procedure using the firmware update, and marking the warm boot procedure as successful if a message received from the computer indicates that the firmware update is successful. In some aspects, the process can further include steps for determining a power reset of the computer, initiating, by the microcontroller, a cold boot procedure using the firmware update, and marking the firmware update as proven if the message from the computer indicates that the firmware update is successful.

  • Patent number: 11726069
Abstract: A method for evaluating a target, the target having a surface, includes pulsing a defined, energetic particle beam through the surface and into the target such that particle energy deposition from the particle beam is concentrated in a subsurface target volume within a target medium of the target. The deposited particle energy induces a thermoelastic expansion of the target medium in the target volume that generates a corresponding acoustic wave. The method further includes detecting the acoustic wave from the target medium.
