Abstract: A merchandising and product display system includes a space defined between a pair of generally parallel dividers. At a rear end of each divider, a rear loading gate is mounted to permit product containers to be inserted through the rear into the opening and to prevent products from being pushed from within the space through the rear of the space. The loading gate includes a pair of wings extending less than halfway across the width of the opening. The wings are hingedly mounted to a central portion permitting the wing to be deflected forward and rearward, and include a rearward extending bulkhead that engages the central portion. The engagement of the bulkhead and the central portion prevents the wings from being deflected sufficiently to permit a product container from passing the gate.

Abstract: A ventilated merchandising system for products displayed in merchandise coolers such as refrigerator or freezer cases. One embodiment of the merchandising system includes a base member and a platform coupled to the base member such that air can flow between the platform and the base member. One or more plenum plates can be coupled to the base for directing air between the platform and the base member. A pusher plate may also be coupled to and movable along the platform for advancing products along the platform. A baffle system that may be coupled to a merchandising tray and a method of distributing air flow within a merchandise cooler unit are also provided.

The adjustment screw assembly comprises an adjustment screw conventionally adapted to be fed into and to engage a threaded bore in the outer end of the fixed handle of the tool; however said adjustment screw itself comprises an internal, fine-threaded bore that extends through the length of said screw, and that receives a threaded force-enhancing shank having a head portion adapted for turning manually or with a turning tool. An end portion of said shank extends beyond the adjustment screw to form the bearing surface which, in a conventional toggle locking tool, is provided by the tip of the adjustment screw. Rotation of the adjustment screw provides rapid, low-force locking adjustment of the tool, and subsequent torquing of the force-enhancing shank results in the application of a multiplied locking force to the jaws of the tool.

Abstract: A merchandising system for articles comprising a first divider providing a sidewall and a generally longitudinal member along the sidewall and a second divider providing a sidewall and a generally longitudinal member along the sidewall. The first divider is coupled to the second divider to form a compartment for the articles between the sidewall of the first compartment and the sidewall of the second compartment. The compartment has a front and a back. A support for the articles is provided within the compartment between the sidewall of the first divider and the sidewall of the second divider from adjacent the front of the compartment to adjacent the back of the compartment by the member on the first divider and the member on the second divider.

Abstract: A system and method for providing a merchandising system is disclosed. The system includes at least three dividers configured to be spaced apart relative to each other and at least two interfaces. Individual interfaces are provided between adjacent dividers and provide selective adjustability between the adjacent dividers. Each individual interface includes a series of notches and at least two flanges, each flange having a projection configured to selectively engage and disengage one of the series of notches by depressing the flange relative to the series of notches.

Abstract: In one aspect, an electrical connector assembly can be removably coupled to a second electrical connector assembly. The electrical connector assembly includes an elastomeric insulative layer and a rigid conductive sleeve disposed within the insulative layer. One or both of the rigid conductive sleeve and the insulative layer have interior surfaces that define an opening. A conductive contact is disposed within the opening and a conductive or semi-conductive exterior layer at least partially covers the insulative layer. The rigid conductive sleeve is configured to act as a voltage shield and the conductive or semi-conductive exterior layer is configured to act as a ground shield.

Abstract: A housing for a current limiting fuse that includes a metal fuse element and a non-conductive filler material. The fuse element is configured to melt to create an open circuit when an applied current exceeds a threshold amount. The housing includes first and second cylindrical members. The first cylindrical member has an open end portion and the second cylindrical member has an integrally formed closed end portion and an open end portion configured to be attached to the open end portion of the first cylindrical member to close the housing. The housing also includes a fastening member configured to prevent the open end portion of the first cylindrical member from separating from the open end portion of the second cylindrical member when the fuse element melts.

Abstract: An optical scanner is provided having a memory device thereon. The memory device may store operational characteristics of the optical scanner or data that characterizes laser beam scan path and/or laser power requirements by each laser of the optical scanner. The memory device may be used to store historical information such as device temperature, cycles of operation and other historical information of components within a corresponding electrophotographic device. Still further, the electrophotographic device to which the optical scanner is installed may write operational data to the memory device, for example, to store a backup of registration and other operational parameters that are typically stored by the controller of the electrophotographic device.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for characterizing laser beam process direction position errors in an electrophotographic device. Once the process direction position errors of a given beam laser beam system have been characterized, an image is adjusted or warped prior to being processed by the laser beam system to compensate for laser beam process direction position errors, e.g., bow and skew.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for electronically adjusting an image to compensate for laser beam process direction position errors in an electrophotographic device. Initially, a bow profile is defined that characterizes the process direction position errors of a laser beam across a scan line. The device subsequently reads an image to be printed from a first memory location, performs pixel shifts on select columns thereof based upon the bow profile, and temporarily stores the adjusted image data to a second location of memory. The adjusted image data is then communicated to a printhead of the device.
