The sheltered bench includes a base member comprising a bench surface for sitting. The sheltered bench further includes a canopy member having first and second support members and a cover. In the erect configuration the first and second support members extend from a first side of the sitting surface to a second substantially opposed side of the sitting surface along opposite sides of the longitudinal axis of the sitting surface. The first and second support members support the cover such that the cover extends over at least a portion of the sitting surface.

Abstract: A system, method and computer program product for archiving image, audio, and text data with metadata encapsulation in a client-server storage library is described. The server receives and holds the images, audio, or text to be archived in an image, audio or text logical partition which includes a directory of the images, audio, or text. The information is encapsulated in a metadata wrapper and stored in the library as a closed image, audio, or text file along with a closed copy of the directory. The closed image, audio, or text directory is also stored in the client. The images may be encapsulated in MXF, DICOM, Tape Archive (TAR) or GZIP formats. The storage library may have magnetic tapes, magnetic disks or optical disks as storage media.

Abstract: A workpiece bending press has a vertical ram with a lateral through-hole near the bottom. A first elongated mandrel has an end that mounts in the through-hole. The first mandrel mounting end has a cavity that receives an end of a second mandrel. The first mandrel then extends from a first side of the ram, and the second mandrel extends from the opposite side of the ram. Workpiece forming blocks may be placed under each mandrel, providing two different mandrels and forming blocks on the ram at once for different pressing stages or different workpiece diameters. One or both mandrels may be part of a set of interchangeable mandrels with different outer diameters. The ram may be operated by a lever that is quickly movable to the left or right side of the press for convenient use of mandrels extending from the left and right sides of the ram.

Abstract: A non-slip foam padding system that is interchangeable and reusable, that can be used on other surfboards by using a hook and loop system. The interchangeable and reusable traction pad can have a plurality of pad members or one solid piece, each having a top surface, a bottom surface with a hook strip adhered to it, a first end and a second end and raised elements. The top layer of the interchangeable and reusable traction pad is made up of a foam sheet material that is characterized by being die cut into a plurality of foam connected sections connected in a side by side alternating manner by short, uncut sections of the foam sheet material. The bottom of the interchangeable and reusable traction pad has a hook fabric adhered to it. The loop fabric is adhered to the surfboards of choice, to make a bond between the traction pad and surfboard.

Abstract: A batting tee has a post including a ball holder on a top end of a post, and a tube cap on a bottom end of the post. A receptacle is positioned in a recess in a base frame having a through hole. The tee is set up for use by passing the post through the through hole from the bottom of the base and securing the tube cap to the base. The batting tee may be set up for use, and disassembled for transport or storage, quickly and easily.
