  • Publication number: 20230380707
Abstract: A water hose coupling having a swivel grip is provided. A first coupling portion with a male threaded end integral with a first larger diameter base is connected to a second coupling portion through a freely rotating connection. The second coupling portion includes a second larger diameter base. The second coupling portion further includes a coupling protrusion integral with the second larger diameter base. The coupling protrusion may have one or more barbs to interface with a hose or a threaded female coupling to interface with a male threaded connector. The coupling is connected to an end of a hose to which accessories may be attached. An outer sleeve is connected to the first larger diameter base of the first coupling portion and can freely rotate with the first coupling portion around the remainder of the apparatus and hose. The outer sleeve acts as an ergonomic grip for users to hold and rotate when using the hose and installing accessories.

  • Patent number: 10914421
Abstract: A grease gun is provided comprising a body having a reservoir bore with a plurality of grooves; a grease reservoir is in communication with the reservoir bore and has a reservoir groove on an outside surface of the reservoir. A retention fastener is received by a groove and is in operational engagement with the reservoir groove to removably retain the reservoir. The retention fastener may be connected to a fastener bracket via an aperture. The bracket is connected to a push-button via a connection mechanism. The grease reservoir may be removed or mounted to the connection aperture by exerting force on the button which transfers the force to the bracket via the connection mechanism. The force causes movement of the bracket along the aperture which deforms the retention fastener to allow the grease reservoir to be mounted/removed.

  • Patent number: 6318405
Abstract: A pressure regulator body having an inlet port and and an outlet port having a pressure regulator valve disposed in said pressure regulator body, said valve being moveable between and open and a closed position and being responsive to open or close the valve based at least in part on a differential pressure between the pressure in the outlet port and the pressure in the inlet port. A chamber in the pressure regulator body on the outlet port side of the valve has a conduit extending from the outlet port into said chamber. This conduit has an inside and an outside and an open end which is spaced from the valve whereby flow through the conduit flowing will pull fluid from the chamber which is located radially outwardly from said conduit as well as allowing flow directly from the valve to the open end in the conduit. The effect of this arrangement is to quickly cause less flow to a fuel tank and more flow to an engine during a desired rapid acceleration of rpm of such engine.

  • Patent number: 6006781
Abstract: A fuel pressure regulator wherein the diaphragm is eliminated from the crimp securing the first and second portions of the regulator housing together, thus minimizing the strain on the diaphragm thereby extending the life of the diaphragm and the pressure regulator. The diaphragm has an annular flange that is disposed within an annular area defined by an annular interior periphery of the second housing portion and an annular exterior periphery of an end plate retained between first and second housing portions of the regulator. The diaphragm is thereby axially and radially restrained between the first and second housing portions without being clamped between the first and second housing portions thereby increasing the life expectancy of the diaphragm. The fuel pressure regulator further utilizes a valve member having an annular sealing surface.
