    Abstract: A valve body containing a valve core comprises a generally cylindrical body having a tapered flange, allowing the valve body to be installed in a wheel rim so that none of it extends beyond the outer surface of the rim. The valve core is contained in a central tube spaced inwardly from an outer wall of the valve body, allowing entry of an air chuck to apply or check pressure.
