Abstract: An embodiment includes a method to increase the efficiency of security checkpoint operations. A security checkpoint kiosk serves as a Relying Party System (RPS). The RPS establishes a secure local connection between the RPS and a User Mobile-Identification-Credential Device (UMD). The RPS sends a user information request to the UMD, via the secure local connection, seeking release of user information associated with a Mobile Identification Credential (MIC). The RPS obtains authentication of the user information received in response to the user information request. The RPS retrieves user travel information based on the user information. The RPS determines that the user travel information matches the user information. When the user travel information matches the user information, the RPS approves the user to proceed past the security checkpoint kiosk.

Abstract: Enhanced apparatuses, systems, and techniques for coupling network-linked peripheral devices into host computing devices is presented. A method includes, over a network interface of a host device, obtaining an indication of a peripheral device available for associating with the host device. Based on the indication, the method includes initiating instantiation of the peripheral device into a Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe) subsystem of the host device by at least emulating behavior of the peripheral device over the network interface as a PCIe peripheral device coupled locally to the host system.

Abstract: A gas spring-powered fastener driver includes a cylinder, a moveable piston positioned within the cylinder, a driver blade attached to the piston and movable therewith between a ready position and a driven position, a lifter to move the driver blade from the driven position to the ready position, and a transmission including an output shaft operatively coupled to the lifter to provide torque to the lifter. The fastener driver also includes an input to provide torque to the transmission and a clutch positioned downstream of the input and operably coupled to the output shaft to limit an amount of torque transferred to the output shaft and the lifter. In response to an application of a reaction torque to the output shaft above a predetermined threshold, torque from the input is diverted from the output shaft via the clutch.

The botanical material and the smokeless tobacco product can be characterized based on antioxidant content using the ORAC index or the FRAP index.
