Patent number: 10684595Abstract: Systems, methods, and user interfaces for controlling a bulk material baling system are provided. One embodiment of the invention relates to a user interface for controlling components of a tying system, providing a wire odometer that determines and displays real-time information on the use of consumables by the tying system, such as an amount of remaining wire. Embodiments of the wire odometer simultaneously monitor and display an amount of remaining wire on a wire carrier, and a corresponding number of straps remaining to be tied by the current wire carrier. Further embodiments of the user interface provide monitoring data and remaining-use expectancy indicators for individual system components. Additional embodiments of the user interface are configured to control various features of components of a combination tying system that straps bailed material with alternate tying heads, providing both wire strapping and plastic strapping capabilities.Type: GrantFiled: September 3, 2014Date of Patent: June 16, 2020Assignee: Accent Wire Holdings, LLCInventor: Mark Allen Vaughn

Patent number: 9660621Abstract: An analog signal conditioning device and method employing a multi-path feedback mechanism to actively minimize the error of the overall desired signal conditioning transfer function to produce a corrected output signal, initially and over temperature, by exploiting characteristics of resistances manufactured simultaneously on a common thermally conductive substrate.Type: GrantFiled: September 30, 2015Date of Patent: May 23, 2017Assignee: Technology For Energy CorporationInventors: Kevin Christopher Omoumi, Allen Vaughn Blalock, Kai Bouse

Patent number: 9654054Abstract: The present general inventive concept is directed to provide a saturation prevention method that utilizes transfer function modulation to continuously and precisely condition signals over more than four orders of magnitude from a signal source. To avoid signal conditioning error and large transient behavior due to range switching, continuous conditioning of all ranges without saturation over the entire large input dynamic range is employed. The use of transimpedance amplifiers in an example embodiment induces negligible loading on the signal source such that the integrity of the original signal is fully maintained, enabling precise signal conditioning. The ratio of gain to input impedance with a transimpedance amplifier is orders of magnitude larger than other typical methods of signal conditioning, making these amplifiers optimum for the saturation prevention method.Type: GrantFiled: September 30, 2015Date of Patent: May 16, 2017Assignee: Technology For Energy CorporationInventors: Kevin Christopher Omoumi, Allen Vaughn Blalock
