Abstract: A canister for housing a tool such as a toilet brush or plunger and the canister has a pair of walls which pivot between an open and closed position via actuation of a platform which moves vertically within the canister upon receipt or removal of the tool therefrom. An actuator is provided to actuate the walls and a bias member may retain the walls in an open position when the tool is removed from the canister.

Abstract: A spice grinding mill has a spice-containing jar with a collar on its neck carrying a frangible freshness seal which is removable to open the container. A grinding assembly is removably mountable on the container and has one or more manually operable latches engageable with keeper structure on the collar to releasably hold the grinding assembly in place, while permitting rotation of the outer portion of the grinding assembly relative to the container, which outer portion is covered with an elastomeric material for improved grip. A plastic cap is removably mountable on the collar or on the outlet of the grinding assembly.

Abstract: A rolling pin has a hollow cylindrical metal roller rotatable relative to an elongated shaft assembly extending axially through the roller, the shaft assembly having two rods respectively rotatably journaled in bushing portions of end caps on the roller, the two rods having their inner ends fitted in recesses in a weighted coupler disposed within the roller, and having outer ends offset from the rotational axis and connected to handles, each of which handles has a rounded side and a flattened side. The weight causes the handles to be disposed in an at-rest position with most of each handle disposed above the rotational axis and with the flattened sides of the handles facing downwardly.
