  • Publication number: 20240011023
Abstract: Polynucleotides are engineered to hybridize to one another to form a functional guide nucleic acid having an editing template. The hybridized guide nucleic acids may be used with template-based gene editors to write an edit into a target genomic location using the editing template as a template for the edit.

  • Publication number: 20220318753
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a system for performing analysis and generating remediation estimations for user interfaces associated with software applications. The system is configured for crawling one or more software applications associated with an entity, identifying one or more user interface elements associated with the one or more software applications, comparing and analyzing the one or more user interface elements with one or more standards stored in a data repository, and generating one or more remediation estimations associated with modifying the one or more user interface elements to meet the one or more standards based on comparing and analyzing the one or more user interface elements with the one or more standards.

  • Patent number: 11170429
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing nutritional recommendations to a registered customer of a business make use of a central computer server and a database including nutritional scores associated with products offered by the business. The central computer server receives a list of products purchased by the customer from the business, and processes that list to assign a nutritional score from the database to each of the products purchased by the customer. The nutritional score of each of the products purchased by the customer is then compared with a nutritional score of one or more product alternatives such that, based on that comparison, a recommended product alternative is selected having a nutritional score higher than a corresponding one of the products purchased by the registered customer. The recommended product alternative is then transmitted to the customer via a software application running on a mobile device of the registered customer.

  • Publication number: 20090225073
Abstract: A method of editing a surface representing a quantitative field is disclosed which facilitates getting a surface to conform to a required shape. In embodiments, the methods revise a surface display substantially in real time by altering a predetermined visual characteristic of the displayed surface as a function of changed original values, the predetermined visual characteristic comprising at least one of a contour line representative of a set of the changed original values or a one-to-one color mapping between a changed original value and color.

  • Patent number: 7013218
Abstract: A method of managing a repeated surface comprising seismic data as one surface is disclosed where a plurality of horizons is analyzed and a determination made as to which of the plurality of horizons comprise a repeated surface. Those horizons which comprise the repeated surface may then be logically connected into a logically connected horizons data set which may then be assigned a common identifier and which may further respond similarly to a single event, e.g. a user action. It is emphasized that this abstract is provided to comply with the rules requiring an abstract which will allow a searcher or other reader to quickly ascertain the subject matter of the technical disclosure. It is submitted with the understanding that it will not be used to interpret or limit the scope or meaning of the claims.

  • Patent number: 6675102
Abstract: The method of the present invention relates to the field of seismic data interpretation for the purpose of finding natural occurrences of oil and/or gas in a geophysical formation. The invention relates to a method of processing seismic geophysical data to produce time structure volumes. The method of the present invention is capable of displaying the position and orientation of layered rocks in the subsurface of the earth.

  • Patent number: 6014344
Abstract: A method for enhancing zero-phase seismic data traces so that subtle geologic features are easier to identify and interpret. In a first embodiment, the method comprises enhancing the amplitudes of at least the peaks and troughs in the zero-phase seismic data traces. This enhancement can be accomplished in a variety of ways. In a second embodiment, the negative second difference is calculated at each sample point along the zero-phase seismic data trace to enhance bends or kinks in the data, as well as peaks and troughs.
