  • Patent number: 12585319
Abstract: A system and method of an adaptive transmitter for an object detection system having an adaptive transmitter that enables changing power levels to meet health and safety requirements based on proximity information. Adaptive transmitters are placed on gateway pillars of a multi-sensor gateway system using an adaptive transmitter configuration. A patron passes through the center of the gate and always stays far enough away from the transmitters such that the transmitter operates in a high field configuration and remain under appropriate health and safety levels. A patron can also move close to a pillar and enter the second proximity boundary wherein the system would automatically switch to a lower power setting to remain within the appropriate health guidelines. A two-mode power level configuration can be extended to a continuous mode configuration where the power levels are adjusted dynamically. Furthermore, power consumption can be reduced and battery lifetime prolonged.

  • Publication number: 20250072458
Abstract: Described herein is a food that is suitable for use as a filling or topping for a shelf stable snack. The food has a protein content of at least 25% by weight, and a nut butter content of at least 50% by weight. The food retains a desirable eating experience, similar to a stabilized nut butter spread despite being resistant to melting and deformation during shipping, handling, and storage.

  • Publication number: 20160012514
Abstract: A method of gifting travel-related services to a traveler includes receiving trip data from a first user, and transmitting the received trip data to a network server for displaying the trip data to a set of secondary users subscribed to access the network server. The method also includes transmitting an access link to the network server to allow each of the set of secondary users to access a gifting interface, and receiving a first request by at least one of the set of secondary users to access the gifting interface via the access link. Still further, the method includes generating a list of the travel-related services or products for display to the at least one of the set of secondary users, and gifting one or more of the travel-related services or products to the first user.

  • Publication number: 20080050486
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for quenching the aldyhyde products of lipid autoxidation. The method includes providing a source of amino acids that are capable of binding the aldyhyde products to thereby quench them. The method finds particular use in the food industry wherein the quenching of autoxidation products is useful in maintaining food appeal to consumers and food product shelf life, especially when incorporating long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids into the food product.
