  • Publication number: 20250111733
Abstract: An electronic gaming device includes a memory for storing computer executable instructions and processor in communication with the memory. The instructions cause the processor to generate a first outcome of a game based on a first random number generator (“RNG”) output, the first outcome including a plurality of symbols positioned on a plurality of reels and determine that the first outcome does not include a winning symbol combination of a first symbol type. In response to the determination, the processor executes a reel boost mechanic enhancement including determining whether to modify the first outcome by adding symbol of the first symbol type to a first reel. The instructions further cause the processor to determine that the modified first outcome increases an award outcome of the game as compared to the first outcome and cause display of the modified outcome including the modified first reel with the added symbol.

  • Publication number: 20250104520
Abstract: A gaming device may perform various electronic games, such as a keno game, and may include a game controller configured to control operations of the performed electronic games. During the course of a game performed on the gaming device, the game controller may control various winning scenarios, including alternate winning scenarios. At certain stages in a keno game, a number of markers may be selected. Before, after, or while these markers are selected, the game controller may determine how many bonus markers will be selected. Based on the number of selected bonus markers, the game controller may initiate a bonus draw phase where an additional number of markers may be selected. After all markers have been selected, any selected bonus markers may be added together and the calculated sum may be added to a credit balance associated with a player of the gaming device.

  • Patent number: 12260706
Abstract: In an electronic gaming device, instances of a target symbol are swapped in to symbol positions of one or more reel strips using one or more index tables to identify the symbol positions at which to swap in the instances of the target symbol. The index table(s) can be configured to cluster instances of the target symbol according to a deterministic approach. Subsequently, spin results are determined for one or more spins of reels using the reel strips.

  • Publication number: 20250087052
Abstract: Memory-efficient techniques for assigning credit values to credit symbols in games of chance are provided. Such techniques allow such credit values to be displayed in ascending or descending order while still allowing for control of the rate at which the credit values grow (or decrease) in value. Moreover, such techniques allow the particular sequences of credit values that are assigned to be dynamically generated from one game to the next, thereby avoiding potentially repetitive use of a limited number of pre-defined credit value sequences to assign credit values or the need for large numbers of pre-defined credit value sequences that may unnecessarily consume memory.

  • Publication number: 20250078624
Abstract: An electronic gaming machine (EGM) includes a processor that provides opportunities to improve a winning combination in a base game window by copying the winning combination into one or more bonus game windows. The EGM achieves a designated game's Return to Player (RTP) while providing the opportunities. When a round of a game provided by the EGM generates an outcome in a base game window with a winning combination that includes one special symbol, the winning combination is copied to one or more bonus game windows. The bonus game windows are then played out to randomly determine whether to modify or improve the copied winning combination of the base game.

  • Publication number: 20250078625
Abstract: An electronic gaming machine (EGM) includes a processor that achieves a designated RTP by providing a game feature that randomly awards one or more metamorphic feature types within a single spin. Additionally, the game feature that randomly awards one or more metamorphic feature types may be based on a triggering mechanism. The EGM utilizes different weight tables, reel strips, or a combination thereof depending on how the game triggers the game feature. For example, the game may trigger the game feature based on a base game outcome (e.g., 3SCAT, 4SCAT, and/or 5SCAT), a random feature trigger, the buying of an instant feature, or a combination thereof. Based on the triggering mechanism used, the game may have different probabilities in triggering one or more of the metamorphic feature types for a single spin.
