The operating system may be configured to, when read and executed by the processor: read a base uniform resource locator (URL) associated with a vendor of a device communicatively coupled to the processor; append information to the base URL to generate a full download URL for an operating system driver associated with the device; and download the operating system driver from a file location defined by the full download URL.
