  • Publication number: 20110180737
Abstract: The invention proposes a valve (1) for controlling volume flows, in particular in a heating and/or cooling system of a motor vehicle, having a disk-shaped valve body (2) with at least one control opening (3) which, to control the volume flow, interacts with a disk-shaped sealing body (10) having at least one passage opening (11), wherein the disk-shaped valve body (2) has an external toothing (49) into which a pinion (42) engages in order to rotate the valve body (2). According to the invention, the pinion (42) and the external toothing (49) of the disk-shaped valve body (2) interact with one another by means of an evoloid toothing (43; 44). The valve according to the invention is provided for controlling volume flows, in particular in a heating and/or cooling system of a motor vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20080219839
Abstract: The invention relates to a centrifugal pump (10) for liquids, comprising a pump spiral housing (12) and a pump wheel (28), which is driven by an integrated electromotor (14, 20, 34, 36), whereby the rotational axis thereof (29) is arranged in a coaxial in relation to the rotational axis (37) of the pump wheel (28). The pump spiral housing (12) is sealed by a sealing ring (72) and is connected to the motor housing by means of a bayonet catch (74, 78) and covers the front side thereof. According to the invention, the motor housing (14) is pot-shaped and is made of plastic and the base thereof (13) which is oriented towards the pump spiral housing (12) forms a common housing wall in relation to the pump spiral housing (12).

  • Patent number: 6320340
Abstract: A drive device for a part of a vehicle that can be adjusted between terminal positions, in particular the roof panel of a vehicle roof, having an electric motor that is connected to a pinion via a first step-down gear. A switch device that controls the electric motor for stopping the electric motor in at least one predetermined position of the adjustable part, and a second step-down gear that moves a switch body. A magnetic-field-sensitive sensor, controllable by the switch body, for controlling the switch device. A conductor track board inside a housing and extending with an extension over the path of motion of the switch element. The magnetic-field-sensitive sensor is disposed at a radial distance from the circular path of motion of the switch body and bridges the distance between the magnetic-field-sensitive sensor and the path of motion of the switch body by means of magnetic flux guide bodies.

  • Patent number: 5224453
Abstract: A system for the open-loop and/or closed-loop control of an internal combustion engine is suggested at least dependent upon signal values which represent the position at least of one element influencing the power of the internal combustion engine and which are determined by a measuring device for detecting this position. This measuring device includes several sensors which each detect the position of the same element. On the basis of the signal values generated by the sensors, a first malfunction detection is carried out as to whether the signal values with respect to each other lie in a first pregiven value range. A second malfunction check takes place especially in the idle or near-idle region of the position of the particular element as to whether the signal values individually and/or to each other lie in a pregiven second value region. In this connection, the second malfunction check is less sensitive than the first.
