Abstract: A casting mold for producing a casting having a front side and a rear side from a curable casting compound, including at least a first mold part shaping the front side and a second mold part shaping the rear side, the mold parts together delimiting a casting cavity. A slide device, provided on one of the mold parts, includes a slide portion that can be driven into the casting cavity and on which a detachable insert part is or can be arranged. The insert part is able to be moved abutting against the opposite mold part and is able to be embedded into the curing casting compound, and is detached from the slide portion when the latter is moved back.

Abstract: A casting mold for producing a casting having a front side and a rear side from a curable casting compound, including at least a first mold part shaping the front side and a second mold part shaping the rear side, the mold parts together delimiting a casting cavity. The first mold part has a first metal layer delimiting the casting cavity and the second mold part has a second metal layer delimiting the casting cavity. The two metal layers overlap in the region of their peripheries and at least the first metal layer is heatable by way of an assigned heating device. An insulation element is arranged on the metal layer of the first or of the second mold part in a peripherally encircling manner. The insulation element in the closed position bears peripherally against the other metal layer and thermally separates the two metal layers, which do not come into contact with one another, from one another.

Abstract: A casting in the form of a sink, including a basin having a base, a rear wall, a front wall and two interconnecting side walls, and also a circumferential rim that extends to the side of the basin and consists of flat rim sections that extend in a straight line from the lateral edges of the rear wall, the side walls and the front wall. The sink is composed of a composite material including a cured polymeric binder and filler particles intercalated therein. A skirt that surpasses the height of the front wall at least in sections adjoins at least the rim section of the front wall, and its outer face extends at right angles from the outer face of the rim section and in a straight line up to the end thereof.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the production of molded parts having a front face and a back face made of a hardenable reaction material, whereby a casting mold consisting of several mold parts is formed, said casting mold having a configuration that remains substantially unchanged during a molding and hardening step and forming a cavity into which the reaction material is filled and hardened, whereupon the casting mold is opened and the molded part is removed from the casting mold. At least one casting mold part has a deformable surface and the cavity of the casting mold is filled with a predetermined amount of hardenable reaction material from a reservoir. The reaction material is hardened while the volume of the cavity of the casting mold is reduced by deformation of the deformable surface of the casting mold.
