The method includes registering a first SIM to a first network in a DCNR supported mode using a T1 and registering a second SIM to a second network in the DCNR not supported mode using a T2. The method also includes determining a 4G bearer is established on the T1 and a 5G bearer is established on the T2 by the first network using the first SIM. Further, the method also includes determining the voice call is being initiated on the second SIM when the data service is active on the first SIM through the T1 and the T2; and configuring the second SIM to provide the voice call over the T2 and the first SIM to provide the data services over the T1.

The MM core network entity processes the received NAS message and the indication data. The MM core network entity determines status of network congestion upon processing the processed NAS message. Sending, by the MM core network entity, a response to the UE based on at least one of the processed indication data and the determined network congestion.
