  • Publication number: 20210132919
Abstract: Systems and methods for automatically carrying out instructions for modifying application programs, when those instructions are found from electronic searches. A user may wish to modify operation of an application program in some way. He or she can thus conduct an electronic search for the solution. Search results in the form of text—(e.g., web pages) or audio/video—(e.g., DIY videos) based files are automatically translated into computer executable code. This executable code is then transmitted to the user's device, where it is automatically executed by the device to modify the application program in the desired manner.

  • Publication number: 20210105701
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a communication method and system for converging a 5th-Generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4th-Generation (4G) system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT). The present disclosure may be applied to intelligent services based on the 5G communication technology and the IoT-related technology. A method of handling control plane data in a wireless network. The method comprises sending, by a user entity (UE), a non-access stratum (NAS) message along with an indication data to a mobility management (MM) core network entity. The MM core network entity processes the received NAS message and the indication data. The MM core network entity determines status of network congestion upon processing the processed NAS message. Sending, by the MM core network entity, a response to the UE based on at least one of the processed indication data and the determined network congestion.

  • Publication number: 20210099460
Abstract: A device management service at a provider network may assign a contextual identity to a newly installed device at a client network based on proximity of other devices to the new device. When a new device is installed on a client network, the device broadcasts a request for proximity data. When another device receives the request, it generates proximity data. For example, it may measure a strength of the radio signal received from the new device, which varies depending on how close the devices are. The new device receives proximity data from the other devices on the client network. The new device then transmits the proximity data to a device management service. The device management service uses an algorithm to determine an estimated location of the new device based on the proximity data. The device management service determines a contextual identity of the new device based on the estimated location.

  • Publication number: 20210089475
Abstract: This disclosure describes various examples of a system which uses a multi-bank, multi-port shared memory system that may be implemented as part of a system on a chip. The shared memory system may have particular applicability in the context of an artificial reality system, and may be designed to have distributed or varied latency for one or more memory banks and/or one or more components or subsystems within the system on a chip. The described shared memory system may be logically a single entity, but physically may have multiple memory banks, each accessible by any of a number of components or subsystems. In some examples, the memory system may enable concurrent, common, and/or shared access to memory without requiring, in some situations, full locking or arbitration.
