  • Patent number: 11507908
Abstract: A system for value prediction for dynamic performance optimization includes a project value predictor that receives a Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and an initiative relating to an active project having a closure date. The KPI is associated with a KPI period including multiple intervals. The project value predictor operates to identify a relevant cluster of KPIs for the KPI based on historical data, forecast a future value of the KPI based on attributes/features of the KPI relative to the closure date, predict a possibility of failure of the KPI using a trained data model to pre-classify the KPI, categorize the KPI based on the future value or the pre-classification, where the KPI is categorized as failure based on the future value being less than a target KPI value after the KPI period and added to list for retraining the model based on the categorization. The system also leads to the identification and subsequent validation of Initiatives that impact the KPIs with quantification of the level of impact.

  • Publication number: 20210233500
Abstract: A system of one or more computers is configured to perform particular operations or actions by virtue of having software, firmware, hardware, or a combination of them installed on the system that dynamically focuses the display of an information handling system screen based on user vision requirements. At least one embodiment includes receiving a vision power requirement for a user and determining a distance between a facial target area of the user and the display screen of the information handling system. An image magnification for the display screen is set based on the vision power requirement and the distance between the facial target area of the user and the display screen as measured by the distance sensor. The magnification value for images on the display screen is dynamically updated based on changes in the distance between the facial target area of the user in the display screen.

  • Patent number: 8769639
Abstract: Some embodiments of the invention are directed to increasing security and lowering risk of attack in connecting automatically to networks by enabling client devices to verify the identity of the networks by, for example, confirming the identity of networks and network components such as wireless access points. In some embodiments, a client device may maintain a data store of characteristics of a network—including, for example, characteristics of a wireless access point or other portion of the network and/or characteristics of a connection previously established with the wireless access point and/or network. Stored characteristics may include characteristics other than those minimally necessary to identify a wireless access point and/or wireless network.

  • Patent number: 7590762
Abstract: Discovery of a network to which a device is in communication and classifying the network is disclosed. The network may be classified as a network already known or a new network signature may be created where the network signature is made up of a network id, a link id and a hop id.

  • Publication number: 20090083211
Abstract: Methods and systems for providing a virtual network of real-world entities are provided. In various embodiments, the methods and systems receive a database identifying real-world entities wherein the database can include relationships between entities and attributes. Some attributes can be associated with strengths. Upon receiving a search query from a user, the methods and systems can dynamically match entities based on the received query and the strengths to provide a response to the received search query.
