  • Publication number: 20240257393
Abstract: Palletization apparatus for loading a garment onto a pallet for processing comprises a form pallet, having an upper surface and a form collar, and an imaging device that views the pallet and the collar area. The garment meanwhile has a neckline or collar. The imaging device is connected to an image processor and the image processor identifies the region around the form collar and the garment neckline or collar and determines firstly that the garment is present, and then secondly that the garment neckline or collar is symmetrically placed in relation to the form collar, thereby to provide an indication of correct placement of the garment on the form pallet.

  • Publication number: 20210270825
Abstract: A sensor device comprises at least one sensing unit and a measurement unit. The sensing unit comprises a surface by which the sensing unit is exposed to a media when the sensor device is in use, the surface carrying one or more carbohydrate-based compositions immobilized thereon, the carbohydrate-based composition comprises one or more of: oxidized cellulose, nano-cellulose, regenerated cellulose, crystalline cellulose, or amorphous cellulose, the sensing unit having one or more parameters changeable in response to binding between the carbohydrate-based composition and one or more carbohydrate binding modules (CBM) of CBM-containing analyte(s) in the media. The measurement unit configured and operable to monitor one or more of the parameter(s) of the sensing unit, and upon detecting a change in one of the one or more parameter(s) generating sensing data indicative of the change, thereby enabling detection of the one or more CBM-containing analytes in the media.

  • Patent number: 11054664
Abstract: A method for projection includes projecting a pattern of structured light with a given average intensity onto a scene. A sequence of images is captured of the scene while projecting the pattern. At least one captured image in the sequence is processed in order to extract a depth map of the scene. A condition is identified in the depth map indicative of a fault in projection of the pattern. Responsively to the identified condition, the average intensity of the projection of the pattern is reduced.

  • Patent number: 10823635
Abstract: Optical apparatus includes a diffractive optical element (DOE), which includes multiple optical surfaces, including at least an entrance surface and an exit surface, and a side surface, which is not parallel to the optical surfaces of the DOE. A grating is formed on at least one of the optical surfaces so as to receive radiation entering the DOE via the entrance surface and to diffract the radiation into a predefined pattern comprising multiple diffraction orders that exit the DOE via the exit surface. An optical detector is positioned in proximity to the side surface so as to receive and sense an intensity of a high order of the radiation diffracted from the grating that passes through the side surface of the DOE.
