The method includes in response to receiving an emoji-expressive reply operation performed by a first user account on a conversation message sent by a second user account, obtaining a system message corresponding to the emoji-expressive reply operation. The system message includes a user identification of the first user account, an abbreviated message identification, and attitude information corresponding to the emoji-expressive reply operation. The method further includes displaying the system message on a chat interface of a chat conversation including the second user account.
