Publication number: 20240141619Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for improvements to a work vehicle that utilizes an implement that may be partially obscured from operator view during use. A camera array can be mounted to the vehicle to generate image data for the working environment of the implement and target object of the implement. Further, a gaze direction and position for the vehicle operator can be detected using a second camera array. The implement image data and operator image data can be combined to generate an augmented image for display in the line of sight of the operator. The augmented image comprises computer generated representations of the implement where it is obscured from view, along with the target object. In this way, the operator can effectively interact with the target object, even though the implement and object may be out of direct sight of the operator.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 28, 2022Publication date: May 2, 2024Applicant: Deere & CompanyInventors: Juan Daniel González, Ignacio Alonso Martinez, Daniel Chapa Montemayor

Patent number: 11174617Abstract: Carrier vehicles—such as, for example, front loaders—are configured to operated with one or more interchangeable implements that are selectively coupled to the carrier vehicle by driving the carrier vehicle towards a desired implement and aligning the implement attachment points with corresponding attachment points on an implement mount that is attached to the carrier vehicle. In some cases, the operator's view of the various attachment points (catch hook and support pins, rods, lines) of the implement and the implement mount is blocked by the front loader arms (booms) or other components of the carrier vehicle. Systems and methods are presented herein for aligning the carrier vehicle with the implement using marks/indicators that are visible by the operator of the carrier vehicle.Type: GrantFiled: August 30, 2019Date of Patent: November 16, 2021Assignee: DEERE & COMPANYInventors: Ignacio Alonso Martinez, Claire Rogge

Patent number: 10861233Abstract: Embodiments provide for transferring mesh connectivity. Embodiments include receiving a definition of a correspondence between a first curve for a source mesh and a second curve for a target shape. Embodiments include initializing an output mesh by setting a third plurality of vertices in the output mesh equal to a first plurality of vertices in the source mesh. Embodiments include transforming the output mesh by modifying the third plurality of vertices based on the first curve, the second curve, and a second plurality of vertices of the target mesh. Vertices of the third plurality of vertices that relate to the first curve are conformed to a shape defined by the second curve, and vertex modifications that result in affine transformations of faces in the output mesh are favored. Embodiments include using the output mesh to transfer an attribute from the source mesh to the target shape.Type: GrantFiled: July 17, 2019Date of Patent: December 8, 2020Assignee: PixarInventors: Fernando Ferrari De Goes, Alonso Martinez
