    Abstract: A product template is created from attributes of an offer for a product by defining a template conditional behavior as a function of a set of selectable data values of the attributes. The product template is translated into a first export that has a first syntax that is executable by a rule engine of a first of a set of business support, operations support and/or operating systems to generate a first rule that is representative of the conditional behavior for the first product and executable by the first system. The product template is also translated into another export that has a second syntax that is different from the first syntax and is executable by a rule engine of a second of systems to generate a second rule that is representative of the conditional behavior for the product and is executable by the second system.
