There is at least one similar identifier on the first and second markers of the set to indicate that they are related to each other.

Abstract: A mobile merchant service allows payment information, credit information, or other transaction information to be processed utilizing a mobile user device. The information can be transmitted utilizing USSD technology that provides a session oriented transaction. Information relating to the customer payment or account details are not maintained in the user device, providing security of personal information. The user device can be synchronized with other devices to facilitate reconciliation and performing financial or other functions.

The device may include a range finder measuring a distance; and a processor receiving the distance from the range finder and performing a calculation based on the distance. Abstract: Described are a method and a system for a wireless headset receptacle. The method includes a step of detecting one of a presence and an absence of a wireless receiver from a receptacle within a communication device. The wireless receiver includes a power supply and an interface for wireless communication with the communication device. The method also includes a step of performing at least one action based on one of the detected presence and the detected absence of the wireless receiver from the receptacle.

The merchant can be authenticated with an account-based service through various techniques including biometric techniques. The merchant can receive a customer's payment information for a sales transaction and input such payment information into the mobile device through various interfaces, such as a keypad, voice recognition, pattern recognition. The mobile device can also include a card reader that can automate entry of the payment information from a credit card, debit card or other identification card.

Abstract: Described are a device and method for detecting ambient light. The device comprises a processing unit, a memory arrangement and a camera port. The memory arrangement stores setting data which includes a plurality of ambient light levels and a setting of a component of the device corresponding to each level. The camera port is configured to receive first data in a first format from a camera-type arrangement. When the camera port receives from a non-camera type data acquisition device second data in a second format, the processing unit converts the second data into further second data stored in the first format. The processing unit determines an ambient light level as a function of the further second data and adjusts the setting of the component as a function of the ambient light level and the setting data.
