The powder supply assembly (18) can include (i) a powder container (640A) that retains the powder (12); (ii) a supply outlet (639) positioned over the build platform (26A); and (ii) a flow control assembly (642) that selectively controls the flow of the powder (12) from the supply outlet (639).

Abstract: Shipping container systems are provided for shipping a temperature sensitive product or payload. The systems include at least one heat transfer element and a payload container configured to hold payload therein and configured to be positioned within a shipping container; the payload container being spaced from sidewalls of the shipping container. Also included are spacers that may space the payload container from one or more of the heat transfer elements, or the spacers may space the heat transfer elements from an inside surface of the shipping container, or the spacers space multiple heat transfer elements from one another. The spacers are configured to allow air to flow over surfaces of the payload container and heat transfer elements. Also included are kits that include components of the system and methods of packing a shipping container with the system and/or kit components.

Abstract: Provided are insulated shipping containers and shipping container systems that include outer side boundaries, in which a container or box may be contained, which outer side boundaries include smooth side walls and corresponding ridged side walls, wherein said smooth side walls and corresponding ridged side walls face one another and have one or more ridges therebetween, such that taken together, the facing smooth side walls and ridged walls form at least one side space therebetween and form outer side boundaries of an insulated shipping container. The insulated shipping containers may also include a top and/or bottom boundary that also include at least two layers, having ridges or other spacer therebetween to form at least one top and/or bottom space. The present systems may further include an over-shipper box and/or one or more interior boxes, which may be adapted to include e.g., a payload and/or heat transfer element therein for temperature control.

Abstract: Hypodermic syringes with multiple needles are used to practice a method of calming psychiatric patients. In accordance with one embodiment of the invention generally used to calm violent adult patients, the syringe has a first barrel containing an antipsychotic, a second barrel containing a sedating antihistamine and a third barrel containing an antianxiety sedative. Each barrel also has a separate projecting needle and contains a piston. A common operator, preferably in the form of a plunger simultaneously pushes all of the pistons so that the patient receives three injections simultaneously. For children, a second embodiment of the syringe includes two barrels instead of three, each barrel containing a separate medication. In each embodiment the syringe is packaged in a manually openable plastic envelope with a safety cap over the needles.
