    Abstract: A flat iron case system for protecting a flat iron from breaking includes a pair of flat irons that are hingedly coupled together and the flat irons are selectively compressed on hair. A pair of shells is provided and each of the shells is coupled to an associated one of the flat irons. Each of the shells is comprised of a rigid material to inhibit the flat irons from breaking when the flat irons are dropped.
