Patents by Inventor Alvin Derouen

Alvin Derouen has filed for patents to protect the following inventions. This listing includes patent applications that are pending as well as patents that have already been granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

  • Publication number: 20170070036
Abstract: The present invention is an apparatus and method for provisioning a compact power filter connection to a well-grounded connector in such a way as to include a capacitive and inductive circuit connection, extremely near the connector and filter, such that EMC compatibility is created in a space roughly 30% of traditional mechanisms and design approach to satisfy the aforementioned needs, provide the previously stated objects, include the above-listed features, and achieve the already articulated advantages. The present invention is carried out in a “post-internal ferrite bead re-radiation noise-less” manner, in a sense that ability to have noise introduced back onto a post-ferrite bead line has been greatly reduced.
    Type: Application

  • Patent number: 4839838
Abstract: A three-dimensional spatial input apparatus including a series of coplanar, single axis accelerometers configured to provide information on translation along and rotation around a set of orthogonal axes. A preprocessing computer determines the acceleration values output by the accelerometers and converts these values into a series of acceleration, velocity and position values in relation to the axis system, with corrections based on a change in the influence of gravity on the device as it rotates. The values are transmitted to an object control computer which takes appropriate action, including moving a cursor, rotating a displayed object, and controlling remote devices. The spatial input apparatus can have an attached pointer and be used as a three-dimensional digitizer in conjunction with the object control computer.
