The securing mechanism protrudes from the first side of the magazine funnel such that, when a gap related to the securing mechanism is expanded while the magazine funnel is coupled to the opening with the securing mechanism inserted into a void of the grip, the securing mechanism secures the magazine funnel to the grip of the firearm.
