    Abstract: In a conventional attic oil reservoir recovery program wherein gas is injected through a well into an attic reservoir, the gas then migrating updip and displacing oil downward to the producing interval in the well wherefrom the oil is then produced, the improvement is added wherein at the completion of the gas injection step a water excluding agent is injected into the reservoir in the immediate vicinity of the well bore which prevents the formation water from restricting the flow of oil into the well bore and being produced.
