  • Patent number: 9268654
Abstract: Systems and methods for centralizing database manipulation for a plurality of heterogeneous databases are disclosed. A single or limited number of central servers can be used to manage a plurality of hosted client systems. With such a technique, database consistent backups can be performed without requiring altering of the central server, even when different database engines are used across the hosted client systems.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 5, 2015
Date of Patent: February 23, 2016
    Assignee: NETAPP, INC.

  • Patent number: 8117165
Abstract: An archived log backup solution is introduced to perform backups of archived database logs from a primary storage location towards a secondary storage location on disk-to-disk basis. The backed up archived logs are organized on the secondary in such a way that allows recovering a database from these logs by directly mounting the secondary storage location to a host where the archived logs are needed in order to perform a recovery. In addition, the archived log backup solution is implemented in such a way that backup network traffic is separated from the servers and their network.

  • Patent number: 4121246
Abstract: The present invention utilizes a conventional aircraft landing and approach indicator in conjunction with a pilot controllable television camera and supporting aircraft computer for tracking an airdrop target and displaying the locus of payload ground impact points directly on the television image of the terrain being approached by the aircraft. The airdrop information is presented in such a manner which does not distract the pilot from the basic task of flying the aircraft by providing automatic calculation and continuous automatic updating of the airdrop information with respect to meteorological and aircraft flight path characteristics.

  • Patent number: T955001
Abstract: An ornamental design for a telephone is disclosed in which the telephone is arcuate and includes a pushbutton dial that has a planar face and rectangular pushbuttons. The longitudinal walls on each side of the dial vary in height, the walls having a greater height at their ends than in the middle. In addition, the portion of the set between the dial and the mouthpiece end of the set includes a planar inclined ramp that extends at an angle to both the flat surface of the dial and the curved surface of the set.
