  • Publication number: 20230191061
Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods for creating a percutaneous tracheostomy are described herein. In some embodiments, a system can include an inflation assembly and a guidewire assembly. The inflation assembly can include an elongated tube, an inflatable member, and a magnetic member. The elongated tube can have a first end, a second end, and can define a lumen. The inflatable member can be coupled to the first end of the elongated tube and can be fluidically coupled to the lumen such that the inflatable member can receive fluid via the lumen. The magnetic member can be coupled to the first end of the elongated tube. The first end of a guidewire of the guidewire assembly can include a coupling member, the coupling member configured to couple to the inflatable member such that translation of the elongated tube translates the guidewire assembly.

  • Publication number: 20220133181
Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods to measure interstitial concentration of selected compounds over time to provide early detection of shock are described. In an example method, interstitial fluid is obtained from a subject. Analytes are detected in the interstitial fluid. At least one of the analytes corresponds to hypoxia of a tissue of the subject and at least one other analyte corresponds to vascular permeability of the subject. The example method further includes determining whether the subject is in shock based on a computing model and the detected analytes and generating an alert based on whether the subject is in shock. Treatments can be administered following the alert generation.

The magnetic member can be coupled to the first end of the elongated tube such that movement of the magnetic member can cause corresponding movement of the first end of the elongated tube. The first end of a guidewire of the guidewire assembly can include a coupling member, the coupling member configured to couple to the inflatable member such that translation of the elongated tube translates the guidewire assembly.

  • Patent number: 10693711
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for managing information networks. A delta causality matrix is generated based on newly discovered topology changes in an information network. The delta causality matrix specifies changes in problem-symptom relationships of a causality matrix associated with constituent objects in a previous topology of the information network. The delta causality matrix is utilized to modify at least one context which comprises a first set of related symptoms and problems associated with the constituent objects in the previous topology of the information network. The modified context includes a second set of related symptoms and problems associated with constituent objects of the modified topology of the information network. An event correlation operation is performed utilizing the modified context and active symptoms detected in the information network, to determine at least one problem which has a symptom signature that corresponds to the set of current symptoms.

  • Publication number: 20160098040
Abstract: A mount for a media content presentation device is disclosed that includes a base member, a support member that is coupled to the base member and is adapted to physically couple to the media content presentation device, and a first computing device disposed within the base member and that includes a detection module that operates to determine a location of an object relative to the mount. The mount further includes an actuating device communicatively coupled to the first computing device and that operates to move the support based on the determined location.
