  • Publication number: 20090216366
Abstract: Computer-implemented method of loading goods stored in a warehouse on a vehicle for transporting and delivering to a number of destination locations, whereby the destination locations are on a predetermined route, comprising the following steps: receiving a number of delivery requests, each request specifying the goods to be delivered, and the destination locations of the goods to be delivered; receiving data descriptive of the route which the vehicle has to travel for delivering the goods at the destinations; placing the goods to be delivered on a staging area associated with the vehicle, the staging area defining a physical place where the goods are intermediately put down and sequentially picked up from for being loaded on the vehicle; whereby the goods are positioned on the staging area in such a first spatial sequence that they can be picked up there from and placed in the vehicle in such a second spatial sequence that they can be unloaded from the vehicle at the respective destination locations in the s

  • Publication number: 20090063233
Abstract: Methods and systems for receiving shipping documents, correlating information in the shipping documents with purchase-order information in a database to produce expected delivery manifests, then directing a transport to a processing facility to unload items which are verified against the delivery manifest. Software to support these systems is also described and claimed.

  • Publication number: 20080162539
Abstract: Parameters in a database control the screen configuration and data to be displayed through a user interface. One such interface can be used to configure other similarly-constituted user interfaces. One interface can be incorporated as a sub-element of another interface in a hierarchical fashion.

  • Publication number: 20080162458
Abstract: A database customizing method accepts choices of database field identifiers and associates a matching method with each identifier, then automatically displays a selection dialog to parameterize a database search on the field identifiers. Related software and systems are also discussed.

  • Publication number: 20080134059
Abstract: Methods and software to produce a chart from data and parameters supplied by a client through a generic interface. Created charts are accessible via a Uniform Resource Locator (“URL”) returned to the client through the generic interface. Multiple chart producers with different interfaces are supported.

  • Publication number: 20080109714
Abstract: Computer user interface screen layouts may be converted into an Extensible Markup Language (“XML”) string, and recreated later (or elsewhere) by processing the XML string. Software to identify software components associated with user interface features, to create a static data structure describing the state of those software components, and to recreate the user interface features by reproducing the software component states is also described and claimed.

  • Publication number: 20070226233
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses enable a generic mapping tool accessible to multiple applications. One or more of the applications may invoke the mapping tool to map objects to each other with a defined relationship. The mapping occurs dynamically during the run-time of the application. The flexibility of the mapping tool enables the use of standard mapping mechanisms.

  • Publication number: 20070136079
Abstract: A system and method are provided for planned transportation cross-docking. A predetermined route for transportation of goods from a source location to an intermediate location to a destination location is provided. A document associated with goods is generated. The document indicates the predetermined route and includes cross-docking at the intermediate location.

  • Publication number: 20060085206
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are generally directed to providing flexible process configurations for software systems and to the execution of those software systems. In one embodiment, a user may use a cross-application process controller to select and arrange the methods that constitute a software system. In an embodiment, the cross-application process controller receives input and executes the selected methods based, at least in part, on the received input.

  • Patent number: 6869985
Abstract: Polymeric materials and products, including sheet flooring materials prepared from the polymeric materials, and processes for preparing the polymeric materials, are disclosed. The polymeric materials include a polylactic acid-based polymer in combination with plasticizer and a compatibilizer, and optionally include a filler. The polymeric material can include between about 30 to about 50 percent by weight polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene glycol, polyglycolide, ethylene vinyl acetate, polycarbonate, polycaprolactone, polyhydroxyalkanoates, or polyolefins modified with polar groups, for example, ionomers. The plasticizer is typically an epoxidized vegetable oil or esterified and epoxidized vegetable oil and is typically present in an amount of between about 10 and about 50% by weight. In some embodiments, the compatibilizer is a polyolefin modified with one or more polar functional groups, and is typically present in an amount of between about 5 and about 10% by weight.
