Abstract: There is disclosed herein a decorative belt buckle comprising a base frame and a cover frame lockable with the base frame, and a tongue when it is inserted into the base frame thus creating a secondary lock. The cover frame includes a ratchet teeth mechanism for engaging ratchet teeth of an insertable tongue. One end of a belt can be fixed within a belt pocket of the base frame, and the other end of the belt can be fixed to an outer end of the tongue. Several forms or styles of covers are disclosed to provide a decorative cover in the form of a particular color or colors, artwork, or the entire cover frame may form a decorative cover.

Abstract: There is disclosed herein an improved and simplified wheel and bearing assembly, such as for skates and the like comprising a bearing inner race preferably formed of a plastic material such as polysulfone. A pair of bearing outer races, preferably of a relatively strong material such as titanium or polysulfone, are coupled with outer surfaces of the bearing inner race. Mating surfaces of the bearing inner race and the bearing outer races are configured and are coated with a lubricant to provide bearing surfaces for the wheel. The wheel includes a tire with a glow-in-the-dark material or a reflective material.

Abstract: There is disclosed herein a device which can function either as a brake or as a clutch and which relies upon the application of fluid which, under sufficient pressure, becomes essentially solid thereby providing substantial friction between a moving disk and a stationery housing. The device includes a stationery housing having therein a rotating disk within a chamber in the housing. A fluid is applied to the chamber, and when the pressure on the fluid is sufficiently increased it becomes substantially a solid thereby essentially locking together the disk and the housing to provide a braking or clutching action.
