A method comprises of manufacturing a heated blanket includes quilting an inner fabric layer to a base fabric layer in a manner forming a wire channel between the base fabric layer and the inner fabric layer; and threading a heating wire through the wire channel.

Abstract: A protector, which is for covering a furniture piece having a seat and optionally having a seat cushion and a back with forward and rearward back surfaces, includes a seat panel having a top end portion and covering a portion of the seat or cushion. The protector may include a back panel having a lower portion attached to the top end portion of the seat panel and having a rearward portion covering a portion of the rearward back surface. An edge portion extends parallel to and inwardly of a portion of a perimeter encircling the protector. A seat-securing elastic band includes an anchor end attached at an anchor site and a free end with a button. The elastic band extends from the anchor site, beneath the seat or the seat cushion, to a button hole on an opposite side of a central axis and downwardly from the lower anchor site.

Abstract: A mattress covering includes a generally rectangular top cover portion having an outer periphery and dimensioned to at least substantially cover the top surface of mattresses of at least one predetermined top surface size. A side skirt extends transversely to the top cover portion around the outer periphery thereof. The side skirt has a lower periphery remote from the top cover portion, and a lower elastic cord is secured at the lower periphery. Each of a first and a second elastic cords has a first end secured near a corner of the top cover portion and a second end secured to lower cord portion of the lower elastic cord located in a position remote from the top cover portion in a direction generally transverse to the top cover portion, so that the vertical elastic cord extends from the first corner in a direction generally transverse to the top cover portion.
