  • Publication number: 20240223838
Abstract: A viewing environment adjustment system, including: one or more sensors each configured to monitor an aspect of the viewing environment; one or more processors; and one or more memory devices having stored thereon instructions that when executed by the one or more processors cause the one or more processors to: determine that media content is being displayed on a display located in the viewing environment; receive data from the one or more sensors; and adjust a corresponding aspect of the viewing environment based on the received data exceeding a selected threshold value in response to determining that media content is being displayed.

  • Publication number: 20240214767
Abstract: A method for geocaching digital content, the method including: loading contents on a digital geocache device, wherein the digital geocache device is not accessible via the internet; placing the digital geocache device at a selected location; registering the location of the digital geocache device on a geocache registry; receiving a request from a user device to access the contents of the digital geocache device; and transferring one or more of the contents from the digital geocache device to the user device.

  • Publication number: 20240177623
Abstract: An educational service for tutoring, testing, and auto-grading is provided within a computer network. A first computing or smart device connected within the computer network is controlled to present a test question using an output component of the computing or smart device. Either the first computing or smart device or a second computing or smart device connected within the computer network is controlled to receive a response to the test question using an input component of either the first or second computing or smart device. The received response by the input component is transformed into a digital file. A recognition algorithm is applied to the digital file of the received response to parse the received response. The parsed received response is processed to determine an accuracy of the response to the test question.

  • Publication number: 20240089656
Abstract: A method for casting to multiple wireless speakers, the method including: receiving at a casting device a request from a user device to cast audio signals to multiple wireless speakers, wherein the audio signals include multiple channels; sending an inquiry request; receiving responses to the inquiry request from multiple wireless speakers; connecting to a plurality of speakers from the multiple wireless speakers; sending test signals to each of the plurality of speakers; receiving information from a microphone for each of the one or more test signals output from each of the plurality of speakers, wherein the microphone is a component of a remote control associated with the casting device; selecting one or more of the multiple channels to send to each of the plurality of speakers based on the received information; and sending the corresponding selected one or more of the multiple channels to each of the plurality of speakers.

  • Publication number: 20240087250
Abstract: A technique is directed to methods and systems for managing image information. In some implementations, the method includes (1) providing user information regarding a user location and a user preference of image information; (2) receiving, at a client device, one or more sets of image information associated with one or more items of interests in an AR environment based on the user information; and (3) generate, at the client device, a user interface for displaying the one or more sets of image information.

  • Publication number: 20240089554
Abstract: A technique is directed to methods and systems for managing caption information. In some implementations, the method includes (1) receiving, at a server, user information describing a user's preference of caption information; (2) generating, at the server, one or more sets of caption information based on the user information; (3) transmitting the one or more sets of caption information to a first client device via a first route; and (4) transmitting video content associated with the one or more sets of caption information to a second client device via a second route different than the first route.

  • Publication number: 20240040356
Abstract: A process may include detecting an incident within a building, determining a first radius of a user device from a node by wirelessly coupling the user device and the node, determining the first radius based on a signal property of the coupling; determining a second radius of the user device from a second node by wireless coupling the user device and the second node and based on a signal property of the second coupling; determining a third radius of the user device from a third node by wireless coupling the user device and the third node, and based on a third signal property of the coupling; and first calculating, based on the first radius, the second radius, and the third radius, a current location of the first user device within the building. The first node may be a node for a Wi-Fi mesh system.
