  • Patent number: 4273328
Abstract: The chest muscle and posture developer includes an elongated, partially elasticized strip of fabric having at least one arm band attached to each end thereof. The elastic strip stretches length wise across a user's back and exerts a force which draws the arms and shoulders rearwardly. The user counteracts this force through use of the chest muscles, thereby resulting in chest muscle development. The device is easily concealed in clothing and may be attached to a shirt or similar garment.

  • Patent number: 4170351
Abstract: The exercise device is adapted to simultaneously exercise all of the limbs of a human being by subjecting them to the combined tensions induced by gravity in combination with mechanical spring bias. Both the arms and legs of a user are caused to move about a universal pivot against spring tension while being held outstretched and subjected to the force of gravity. Pivotal arm exercise frames are provided which are adjustable to accommodate various human arm lengths and also angularly adjustable to subject the arms of an exerciser to different stresses. Similarly, a leg exercise assembly is provided which is adaptable for persons of varying heights and leg lengths and which is angularly adjustable relative to a vertical plane to vary the abdominal tension experienced by a user.

  • Patent number: 4089520
Abstract: The exercise apparatus includes a platform having arm exercise members extending laterally from opposite sides thereof. These arm exercise members are mounted to pivot vertically and horizontally and spring means are provided to oppose this pivotal movement. Also a leg and abdominal exercise member is mounted on the platform for universal pivotal movement relative to the platform. This leg and abdominal exercise member provides exercises against spring tension along the longitudinal axis of the member and also outwardly in a lateral direction from the member.
