  • Patent number: 11806149
Abstract: A flexible dry electrode comprises a multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWCNT)/polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) composite. The flexible dry electrode may be utilized for monitoring electrocardiogram (ECG) signals. The dry ECG electrode may be fabricated by screenprinting silver (Ag) ink on flexible polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrate, followed by bar coating of a MWCNT/PDMS composite.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 8, 2021
Date of Patent: November 7, 2023
Inventors: Massood Zandi Atashbar, Amer Abdulmahdi Chlaihawi, Binu Baby Narakathu, Ali Eshkeiti

  • Publication number: 20180351479
Abstract: A magneto-electric energy harvester/generator includes a piezoelectric layer, a conductive layer disposed on a first side of the piezoelectric layer, and a layer of magnetic material disposed on a second side of the piezoelectric material. The device may be fabricated by screen printing polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) ink onto a flexible magnetic alloy substrate. Silver ink may then be screen printed onto the PVD material to form a conductive layer. The printed PVDF and silver layers may be cured by heating, and the device is then poled by applying an electric field.
