Abstract: A modular lighting fixture system includes plural modular lighting segments, each modular lighting segment including a mating system for mechanically connecting the modular lighting segment to another modular lighting segment. The modular lighting segments fit together to create different shapes and designs, forming a larger overall fixture system.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a lighting apparatus comprising at least one scrim LED unit, an interface unit, and at least one portable remote control, wherein each portable remote control unit is configured to exchange information with the interface unit. Each scrim LED unit comprises a first scrim fabric and a plurality of LED lighting units. Each of the plurality of LED lighting units is attached to a reverse side of the first scrim fabric. Each scrim LED unit comprises a plurality of electrical cables capable of having multiple LED lighting units spaced thereupon. A main connector interconnects the interface unit to each of the plurality of electrical cables. Each LED lighting unit comprises an LED light and a mounting frame, wherein each LED light is detachably coupled to the mounting frame and each mounting frame affixes the LED lights onto the reverse side of the first scrim fabric.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a lighting apparatus comprising a housing for maintaining one or more lighting elements, and a mating mechanism for connecting the lighting apparatus to at least one other lighting apparatus. The mating mechanism magnetically couples the lighting apparatus to another lighting apparatus positioned within proximity of the mating mechanism.
