Abstract: The machine comprises: a plurality of printing units each of which has a printing cylinder movable so as to allow adjustment of the position of the image printed by that cylinder in two perpendicular adjustment directions relative to the web of printing material; first manually-operated adjustment means arranged to allow a user to adjust manually the position of each printing cylinder; image acquisition means arranged to acquire images of register marks printed by the printing units along one or both sides of the web of material; and display means arranged to show, on an enlarged scale, the images acquired by the image acquisition means, so as to allow the user to detect any misalignments between the register marks and to properly adjust the position of one or more printing cylinders to clear said misalignments. The image acquisition means comprise a plurality of cameras each of which is arranged to frame.

Abstract: Printing machines are provided which include a plurality of printing units, each including a cliché-carrying cylinder rotatably mounted about a respective axis of rotation (x) and a cliché fixed to the cliché-carrying cylinder in a given angular position with respect to the latter. The cliché-carrying cylinder of each printing unit has at least one reference mark (N) intended to be aligned with a given reference direction (z) to ensure correct angular positioning of this cliché-carrying cylinder with respect to the cliché-carrying cylinders of the other printing units. Each printing unit comprises a laser source adapted to generate a light beam directed along the reference direction (z) of this printing unit and towards the cliché-carrying cylinder of this printing unit, so that it is easier to perform the operation of aligning the reference mark (N) on the cliché-carrying cylinder with the reference direction (z).

Abstract: Variable-format offset printing units are provided in which each of the two supporting members of the intermediate cylinder is connected to the respective supporting member of the impression cylinder by a respective linear actuation device which includes a first element and a second element that are movable relative to each other along a direction of relative movement, wherein the first element of each linear actuation device is hinged to a respective supporting member of the intermediate cylinder and wherein the second element of each linear actuation device is hinged to a respective supporting member of the impression cylinder.

Abstract: Flexographic printing machine consisting of one or more printing stations (100) situated in series, each printing station (100) comprising a frame on which at least one cliché-holder cylinder (102) is assembled, suitable for applying ink, taken from a tank (104) by means of at least one inking cylinder (106) in contact with the cliché-holder (102) and rotating in an opposite direction with respect to this, on a continuous strip (108) of materials to be printed. The strip (108) is moved and kept in contact with the cliché-holder cylinder (102) by means of at least one counter-drum (110) which rotates in an opposite direction with respect to the cliché-holder cylinder (102). In correspondence with the counter-drum (110) downstream with respect to the cliché-holder cylinder (102), there are one or more devices (112) capable of drying, desiccating, polymerizing and/or heating the ink deposited on the strip (108) by the cliché-holder cylinder (102).

Abstract: An improved printing machine comprises: a frame, at least one cliche carrying roller fitted rotationally on the frame, the cliche carrying roller being interchangeable with cliche carrying rollers of different diameters, at least one inking roller fitted rotationally on the frame parallel to and in contact with the cliche carrying roller, the inking roller being mobile along an arc of circle to enable it to make contact with cliche carrying rollers of different diameters, at least one disk joined to each cliche carrying roller, at least one cam joined to the inking roller and in contact with the disk. Means are provided for automatically rotating the cam in relation to the movements of the inking roller to maintain the cam regulation of the inking roller with respect to the cliche carrying roller.
