Abstract: A mobile atmospheric water generation (AWG) system may comprise a water generation unit configured to transition between an inactive state and active state, wherein: in the active state, the water generation unit is configured to generate liquid water from atmospheric air; and in the inactive state, a liquid water generation function of the water generation unit is suspended. The mobile AWG system may comprise an orientation sensor configured to generate a reading indicating a tilt angle of the mobile AWG system relative to a horizontal plane. The mobile AWG system may further comprise a computing device configured to: obtain, from the orientation sensor, the tilt angle of the mobile AWG system based on the at least one reading; and in response to a determination that the tilt angle of the mobile AWG system satisfies a predetermined threshold, transition the water generation unit from the active state to the inactive state.
