Publication number: 20230135754Abstract: A bubble generating apparatus and a method for producing bubbles. The bubble generating apparatus may include a bubble solution reservoir containing a bubble solution, a water chamber containing water, an atomizer fluid configured to convert the water to vapor, and a bubble generating device having at least one opening. There may be a motor and a first fan device operably coupled to the motor. Upon activating the atomizer and the motor, the bubble generating device becomes loaded with the bubble solution, the atomizer converts the liquid in the liquid chamber to a vapor, and the first fan device generates a first air stream that causes the vapor to flow towards the at least one opening of the bubble generating device to generate one or more bubbles from the bubble solution loaded on the bubble generating device, the bubbles being filled with the vapor to give the bubbles a cloudy appearance.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 28, 2021Publication date: May 4, 2023Inventors: Nai Cheng YANG, Ami Shapiro, William M. Publication number: 20230001320Abstract: A bubble generating device and a method for producing bubbles. In one aspect, the invention can be an apparatus for generating bubbles including an housing assembly, a motor, and a fan device operably coupled to the motor to generate an air stream. There may also be a bubble generating assembly having a plurality of bubble generating devices that are aligned with the air stream generated by the fan device. The bubble solution dispenser may include a storage reservoir containing a supply of a bubble solution and a delivery reservoir that is fluidly coupled to the storage reservoir. The motor may be operably coupled to the bubble solution dispenser to rotate the bubble solution dispenser about a rotational axis to deliver the bubble solution to each of the bubble generating devices.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 12, 2022Publication date: January 5, 2023Inventors: Nai Cheng Yang, Richard Clayton, Ami Shapiro, Jeff Falerni

Patent number: 11446584Abstract: An apparatus and method for producing bubbles. The apparatus may include a motor, a fan device operably coupled to the motor to generate an air stream, and a bubble generating assembly operably coupled to the fan device so as to be rotated. The apparatus may also include a bubble solution dispenser for dispensing bubble solution onto bubble generating devices of the bubble generating assembly. Furthermore, a support member may be provided for supporting a container of the bubble solution. The support member may be altered into a dispensing position whereby the bubble solution can be dispensed from the container into the bubble solution dispenser. When the support member is in the dispensing position, a switch that activates the motor may be actuated into a closed state. The support member may include an actuation member that engages the switch when in the dispensing position.Type: GrantFiled: February 20, 2020Date of Patent: September 20, 2022Assignee: HONOR METRO LIMITEDInventors: Nai Yang, Ami Shapiro, Jeff Falerni

Patent number: 10780365Abstract: An apparatus for generating bubbles. The apparatus may include a wheel having an outer surface that lies on a reference cylinder. The wheel may be configured to rotate about a first rotational axis. A fan device that is configured to generate an air stream may be located within the reference cylinder. A bubble generating assembly may also be located within the reference cylinder. The bubble generating assembly may include at least one bubble generating device. In use, rotation of the wheel about the first rotational axis may be configured to load a bubble solution onto the bubble generating device of the bubble generating assembly. In addition, or as an alternative, rotation of the wheel about the first rotational axis may be configured to rotate the fan device about a second rotational axis to generate the air stream.Type: GrantFiled: November 21, 2018Date of Patent: September 22, 2020Assignee: Honor Metro LimitedInventors: Ami Shapiro, Jeffrey Falerni

Publication number: 20080054563Abstract: A game may include a first game board having a plurality of shaped holes distributed in a regular pattern, a laser piece generating a laser beam, a laser target piece responsive to the laser beam, and mirror pieces each having a matching shape for insertion in the shaped holes of the first game board to reflect the laser beam along a path from the laser piece to the laser target piece. The mirror pieces may be inserted at a limited number of azimuth angles in the game board, such as multiples of 22.5°. The game board and mirror pieces may be marked with a series of lines aligned with the azimuth angles so that the direction of reflection of the laser beam can easily be determined by inspection.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 12, 2007Publication date: March 6, 2008Inventors: Ami Shapiro, Daniel Garcia

Publication number: 20060003666Abstract: A remotely controlled concealed attack toy vehicle has a relatively normal appearance when the hood is closed; and arrangements are provided for raising the hood, and an armed attack figure is also raised, to present a threatening posture. The vehicle may have two rear drive wheels, which are independently operable by separate motors in the forward or reverse directions to permit rapid swiveling. A third idler wheel may be provided toward the front of the vehicle. A third motor may be provided to raise and lower the hood and the action figure, with an optional lost motion mechanism for delayed raising of the attack figure.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 1, 2004Publication date: January 5, 2006Inventors: Christopher Hardouin, Ami Shapiro, Kevin Bloomfield, Yuval Caspi
