  • Patent number: 10669657
Abstract: Present aspects are directed to a ribbed structure of a knit sleeve that may provide ventilation, color-reveal qualities, curvature of a tailored sleeve shape, increased range of motion, and additional functional stability of the knit sleeve. Rib zones may be located along the knit sleeve so that various ribbing and venting components of each rib zone are automatically oriented near a particular portion of a wearer's arm. The rib zones may comprise a plurality of knitted ribs and a plurality of knitted vents, wherein the plurality of knitted vents are configured to move from a closed position to an open position in response to expansion and contraction of the plurality of knitted ribs.

  • Publication number: 20200085123
Abstract: An elongate elastic member for assisting an athletic motion and a lower-body garment incorporating the elongate elastic member are provided herein. The elongate elastic member may have various configurations that permit it to be attached to a foot or shoe of a wearer and a torso of the wearer. The structure and as-worn configuration of the elongate elastic member and associated lower-body garment augment or inhibit joint moments during an athletic motion, improving the actual or perceived amount of energy expended to complete the athletic motion.

  • Patent number: 10550501
Abstract: Present aspects are directed to a knit sleeve that provides for a left-arm wearing or right-arm wearing assembly location for each knit sleeve, as coupled to a garment body, as well as a convergence between knitted features on front and back body extensions as mated to the upper arm of the sleeve. A knit sleeve convergence pattern for an underarm portion of a knit sleeve comprises a plurality of knitted ribs and a convergence point comprising a central location between the plurality of knitted ribs.

  • Patent number: 10531696
Abstract: An optimal range of motion garment is provided. The garment is capable of fitting over one or more shoulder pads. The garment comprises a front portion attached to a sleeve, a back portion attached to a sleeve, and a gusset attached to the front portion and the back portion. The gusset is configured to correspond to a negative space of the one or more shoulder pads. The garment may also comprise a sleeve opening attached to the sleeve. The sleeve opening is directed towards the front of a user at a specific angle. The gusset and sleeve opening being directed towards the front portion at a specific angle facilitate optimal range of motion for a user.
