  • Patent number: 11891673
Abstract: A hot-shapable uncoated steel-plate workpiece is press hardened by first transporting the plate through a heating zone continuously or discontinuously and there heating the plate to an austenitizing temperature while blocking entry of oxygen into the heating zone. Then the heated plate is cooled in a cooling zone to a martensitizing temperature below the austenitizing temperature without contacting the heated plate with oxygen. Finally, immediately and without cooling of the cooled workpiece to a martensite start temperature, the cooled workpiece is deformed at least partially in a finishing press into a desired shape.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 9, 2021
Date of Patent: February 6, 2024
Assignee: BILSTEIN GMBH & CO. KG

  • Publication number: 20210348255
Abstract: A steel for making acid-gas resistant parts for power generation, pipes, tanks, pipelines for gases or other fluids, for parts in contact with hydrogen, bipolar plates of fuel cells and heat exchangers. The high-manganese austenitic steel. The steel has in weight percent 0.02 to 0.12% carbon, 0.05 to 0.5% nitrogen, 10 to 20% manganese, 10 to 20% chromium, and remainder iron with usual impurities.

  • Publication number: 20200387804
Abstract: A system operation management server computer (server) and related methods are disclosed. The server is programmed to learn the features of and relations among computer devices from various types of data related to the computer devices and build a knowledge graph (KG) to represent IT infrastructure. The server is also programmed to manage a collection of issue resolution rules each mapping the states of certain computer devices that characterize a known issue and a known resolution of the known issue. In response to receiving a support bundle that contains data related to a target computer system that has encountered an unknown issue the server is programmed to determine which issue resolution rules are applicable to the support bundle based on the KG and transmit a recommendation for resolving the unknown issue.

  • Patent number: 10700935
Abstract: A system operation management server computer (server), agent computer (agent), and related methods are disclosed to configure and manage the operation of systems in a system category. In some embodiments, the server and a plurality of agents are programmed to collaborate on exploring and improving the operation of systems in a system category through reinforcement learning.

  • Patent number: 10532395
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a shaped sheet-metal part from a panel or a semifinished part made of a material consisting of steel with at least 60 wt. % Fe and a residual austenite content of at least 5%, in which the panel or the semifinished part is at least partially cooled to a temperature below ?20° C. before the shaping and is shaped at a temperature below ?20° C. in a forming tool. The object of providing a method for producing load-compliantly configured components, which on the one hand permits industrial-scale use of low-temperature forming and is configured particularly simply, is achieved by reducing the material temperature of the panel or semifinished part to below ?20° C. is carried out in a thermally regulated cooling apparatus.
