Abstract: A meta-antenna apparatus and method are provided. The meta-antenna includes a substrate comprising a ground plane, a first slot structure including slots disposed on the ground plane, feed lines electrically connected to the first slot structure, and a meta-surface including a meta-material, and unit cells, the meta-surface being spaced apart from the ground plane. The unit cells each includes a square cross-sectional shape, and a ring-shaped metal pattern formed on one side thereof, and an inner diameter of the metal pattern is smaller than half a length of one side of the square of a unit cell.
