    Abstract: An anastomosis device. In one embodiment, the device includes a base member having a first end, a second end, and a body portion with a length defined between the first end and the second end. The body portion is formed with a first edge portion and a second edge portion, where the first edge portion and the second edge portion are apart from each other and defines a recess therebetween and an opening thereof. The device further include a stent member having a substantially tubular body with a longitudinal axis, A, and a lumen defined by the substantially tubular body, and projecting away from the base member such that to form an angle, ?, between the base member and the longitudinal axis A of the substantially tubular body, where the lumen of the stent member is in fluid communication with the recess of the base member through the opening.
